Received the Majesty King charity award from the Thai royal family Published in the National Magazine Exhibition. Bunten is sold at major bookstores nationwide. Stored in embassies nationwide, famous museums, prefectural and private libraries, and the Tokyo Metropolitan Library. The Majestic King’s Charity Award is an annual award given by the Thai Royal Palace to an artist who symbolizes love and peace once a year for 25 years. This time, the awards are given to artists who create works of art that bring peace to the hearts of those affected by the earthquake and soothe their souls.

Originally, it was the 25th anniversary of the artistic exchange between Japanese art and the Thai royal family, which started in 1998 with the audience of the former King of Thailand, Rama IX, King Bhumibol Adulyadej.

Twenty years after the Sumatra earthquake, the Thai royal palace selected and recorded artists.
It will be a selection commendation as an artist representing Japan.

This work “Suzaku Ranbu” was given a splendid evaluation and award, and it is an award as an artist selected as an artist of “love and peace” that gives peace of mind to people.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart, and I am honored to receive the commendation from the Thai royal family.

This commendation consists of a shield of the Thai god “Ganesha” and a “commendation certificate”, but the Thai royal family who gave this commendation, His Highness Kittyakorn, passed away in March this year, and this shield has become very valuable.

Even in Thailand, the news of his death was widely reported, but from His Highness,
I am truly honored to receive praise for Suzaku Ranbu by Jun Arakawa as a work that symbolizes love and peace.

We will continue to develop SHU Sumi-e,
I would like to give peace of mind to many people regardless of age or gender.

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has supported us so far.

Although I am still lacking as an artist and as a human being, I would like to continue to devote myself to the future as an artist representing Japan, receiving an award from Thailand as an encouragement.
