Spring/Summer/Autumn/Winter MV

Music video collaboration between Hayate Arakawa and Team Takaya

The filming took place in a bamboo forest. As time passed, the image began to unfold, and in the depths of the silence, each sound became a soul, sprouting with the ink, and the seasons began to move.

This music video expresses the four seasons of Japan through music and ink. Each of Japan’s four seasons has its own traditional culture, and there are moments that can only be experienced in each season. Whether it’s the season when cherry blossoms flutter down, the sound of cicadas, or the beauty of falling autumn leaves, Japan has created and preserved traditions within these seasons.

That tradition is connected to ‘life’. It is linked to life itself. All my feelings about spring, summer, autumn, and winter are poured into this music video through sound, music, and ink painting.
