Solo Exhibition “Ribon ~Re:Born~”

My solo exhibition, “Re:Born,” held from March 28th to 29th, has successfully concluded. It was truly an amazing exhibition, far exceeding the realm of a typical exhibition.

Many Hello Kitty fans attended. Thanks to the television coverage, many people who saw the show also came.

Over 100 different items, including artwork and merchandise, were on display. The number of visitors became so high that I lost count halfway through.

Thanks to everyone’s support, so many people came, and time flew by while I was attending to them. Before I knew it, the exhibition was over. Many high-priced artworks and merchandise items sold, the gacha machines were enjoyed by many, and all the Queen Confectionery sweets I provided for sampling were eaten. I felt that this solo exhibition, “Re:Born,” was a place where I could truly share the joy of seeing everyone happy. The venue was very spacious, which allowed for a wider range of expression and the display of larger pieces.

I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Sanrio Co., Ltd. for approving my work, to the Tochigi Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Toytec Co., Ltd. for arranging the venue and proceeding with product development, to all the companies that collaborated on product development, to the venue staff, to the Ethics Association and branding producers who have supported me so far, to everyone who came to the exhibition, and to everyone who supported me but couldn’t attend.

As a sumi-e (ink painting) artist who doesn’t use brushes, I can’t do anything other than create artwork, so I am grateful for everyone’s cooperation and support.

This exhibition is a large stage where everyone’s efforts come together. I feel that I was only able to achieve this because of everyone’s cooperation, precisely because I am still inexperienced. I have undoubtedly caused trouble for many people, but I would like to repay that with my gratitude.
